1. BROWN and YELLOW wire - START wire
This wire should be connected directly to the vehicle's starter wire.
To find the starter wire, have your meter set to DC volts and connect the black lead to
chassis ground.
Probe with the red lead until you locate a wire that shows (+)12 volt with the key in
the CRANK position ONLY.
2. BLUE - IGNITION input
This wire should be connected directly to the vehicle's heater/air conditioning circuit
wire.
To find the vehicle's ignition wire, have your meter set to DC volts and connect the
black lead to chassis ground.
Probe with the red lead until you locate a wire that shows (+)12 volt with the key in
the RUN position.
3. BLACK - GROUND input
Connect this wire to the vehicle's clean bare metal surface using a ring terminal.
Be sure to remove any paint or grease from the surface below your connection.
It is recommended to use a factory bolt instead of a screw, which can loosen or be
stripped.
4. RED - (+)12 Volt constant power input
Connect to vehicle's (+)positive battery post or a(+)12 Volt source at the ignition
switch.
Once you think you have found a wire, test it with the key in the CRANK and RUN
positions.
